Introducing the iBanFirst authentication app

The iBanFirst app is a mobile application designed to enhance the security of your financial operations and provide a more seamless experience when managing international payments on the iBanFirst platform.

More specifically, you can:

  • Link the iBanFirst authenticator app to your iBanFirst account in just a few clicks

  • Instantly approve or deny any login attempts and sensitive financial operations (such as creating and modifying payments and beneficiaries or creating a new entity) through push notifications, time-based codes or face/touch ID

No need to use Google Authenticator anymore!

And when it comes to compliance, the iBanFirst app matches the Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) of the Payment Services Directive (PSD2).

How to install the iBanFirst app

Here's how you can install and set up the iBanFirst app in just a few clicks:

  1. Visit the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) on your device

  2. Search for "iBanFirst"

  3. Download and install the application

  4. Open the app and follow the simple setup instructions

  5. Link the app to your existing iBanFirst account

How to connect the iBanFirst app to your iBanFirst account

1. Go to "Settings" in your iBanFirst account and click "Secure your account", then click on "Set up authentication app", or click "Download app" on the pop-up

2. Follow the instructions on the screen to set up the iBanFirst app

3a. When the iBanFirst app is installed on your device, open it and follow the instructions

3b. After you select "Link my iBanFirst account", a QR code will appear on your screen

3c. Use the iBanFirst app to scan the QR code

3d. Activate push notifications on the iBanFirst app

4. Protect your iBanFirst account by enabling safe mode

5. You can now initiate your financial operations safely
