How to process bulk payments in iBanPay
iBanPay uses AI to scan your payment files and extract key data in seconds — then prepares drafts that are ready to review and validate. You can upload files in two formats: CSV or XML (pain.001).
No manual entry, fewer errors, and a faster payment process from start to finish.
Key benefits
Faster payment preparation — upload up to 50 payments per file, group them, and validate with a single click.
Error-free processing — AI scans and extracts all key data in seconds and prepares payment drafts automatically, ready for you to review and validate.
Simplified payment process — use CSV or XML files exported directly from your ERP or accounting software, or create a CSV in Excel, and upload straight to the platform.
CSV or XML: which format should I use?
Both formats support up to 50 payment orders per file. The key difference is in how you prepare the file:
CSV — requires our mandatory template. Download it, fill in the payment details, then upload. Works well if you prefer to build your payment file manually or if your accounting software exports CSV.
XML (pain.001) — upload the file directly from your ERP or accounting software, with no template required. The right choice if your software already exports in pain.001 format.
How to upload a CSV file
Step 1 — Download the mandatory template
If you haven't already, activate iBanPay (click to "Activate" button on the right side of the dashboard page). Then download our mandatory CSV template and fill it in with the key payment details: beneficiary account information, amount, currency, and reference. You can add up to 50 payment orders per file.
Step 2 — Upload your completed CSV file
Once your file is ready, drag and drop it into the upload section on your dashboard. iBanPay processes the file automatically and generates payment drafts for you to review.
Step 3 — Validate all payment drafts in one click
Group your drafts and submit them all at once. Please note that you can only submit complete drafts that require no further changes and are ready for immediate execution.
How to upload an XML file
Step 1 — Export your XML file
Export a payment file in XML (pain.001) format from your ERP or accounting software. No template download is required — you can upload the file directly to the platform.
Step 2 — Upload your XML file
Drag and drop your XML file into the upload section on your dashboard. iBanPay processes the file automatically and generates payment drafts for you to review.
Step 3 — Validate all payment drafts in one click
Group your drafts and submit them all at once. Please note that you can only submit complete drafts that require no further changes and are ready for immediate execution.
