SWIFT payments
You can download 2 documents:
“Payment order confirmation”: available as soon as iBanFirst accepts your payment and starts processing it.
“SWIFT proof of payment”: available after iBanFirst sends your payment to the SWIFT network.
These documents become available at different stages of the payment journey. You will therefore see them one after the other.
SEPA payments
You can download one document only: Payment order confirmation
Payment order confirmation
As soon as iBanFirst accepts your payment and begins processing it, you receive a payment order confirmation. This document confirms that your payment instruction is received and in progress.
You can download it directly from the payment details page.
SWIFT payment confirmation (pacs.008)
Once your payment has left iBanFirst and entered the SWIFT network, you can download your SWIFT proof of payment, the pacs.008 file. It becomes available a few hours after your payment has been initiated.
This is the official SWIFT message confirming your payment has been sent.
It includes:
Full payment details: amount, currency, sender and beneficiary information
A unique tracking ID (UETR): the Unique End-to-End Transaction Reference, which lets you and your beneficiary track the payment at any point.
To download it, go to your payment detail page and click on "Swift payment confirmation".
The pacs.008 is only available for SWIFT (cross-border) payments; not for SEPA, DSP or internal payments.

When will my payment order confirmation be available?
It is available as soon as iBanFirst accepts your payment, typically within minutes of submission.
What is the difference between the payment order confirmation and the pacs.008?
The payment order confirmation confirms that iBanFirst has received and started processing your payment.
The pacs.008 confirms that iBanFirst has sent your payment to the SWIFT network. For a SWIFT payment, you receive these two documents at different stages.
I cannot find my proof of payment — what should I do?
Check that a few hours have passed since you initiated the payment. If the pacs.008 is still unavailable, please contact us.
