What happens with my BGN accounts?

Explanation of what happens with BGN deposit and collection accounts during the switch from BGN to EUR.

BGN deposit accounts

BGN deposit accounts will be locked on the 15th of December 2025. You won’t be able to use them for payment activity after this date.

If you don't already have a EUR account, we will open one for you.

Note: all BGN account payment history and account statements will remain available and accessible to you like before.

Collateral accounts denominated in BGN will be changed to EUR as of 3rd November 2025.
